I'm guessing you have to get the chihuahua stuck where he starts out each time, and then somehow he'll let you back across the trapdoors. I can't see how it works, though
That's right and it's not even that hard. Maybe someone figures it out.

It is stored at the top of Mount Olympus until next King arises (whoever has the painting displayed has the vault).
It's cool to see that my painting inspired that.

Here is the Hernandez house. Who finds the solution?
Wow, that's actually harder than I thought! I knew you had to cross the trapdoors, see the CAD and combo the cats, but I assumed you had to do a magic dance to get back across the trapdoors. I still haven't figured out quite how you can cross the commit gates back, though. I also didn't expect there to be more dogs past the 2 that see you at first.

Nobody got past the second gas in the north hallway, 90% of the tapes with more than 3 steps looked the same: playing with the dogs in the chihuahua roundabout and then dying in or after one of the commit gates. I really thought someone would at least try to take a leap of faith back through one of those.
]]>Congrats, 42Dustman! You have figured out through trial and error what I had trouble figuring out looking at the map!
Damn, that's some top-notch house design right there. No wonder it took me so many deaths tries, it's all complex and compact and there are a lot of places where you can commit an unapparent error and only see that you mucked it up in a far away area. I also like that little modification you made by surrounding the "vault" with pits so burglars could take a peek at it's golden glory if they took this or that wrong turn.
]]>Did you modify it Iceman? If so, can I have a look?
Yep- it's one of the easter eggs that daVinci mentioned. 42dustman gave me the idea of having easter eggs a while back, and I figured I'd throw some in! If you want to see the treasure chest, it's in 42's house now (Martin, I believe his name is). (Or you could look into the vaults folder)
]]>I GET TO BE THE NEW KING NOW!
I'VE GOT A CASTLE, A CROWN, A QUEEN AND A PIMPED UP TREASURE CHEST! RESPECT MY AUTHORITAH!
AND...... Hey, what's with that sword hanging up there?
]]>And Iceman... I saw your vault. ;D
Well, I *am* the King! You'll be looking into it soon, I expect- be sure to share the experience with the rest of us when you do

That was me..
Oh... Sorry about your whole family.
]]>Oh come on, curiosity sucks. Have fun with my bounty, Mr. Lowery. What was it, about 20K? I'm gonna post my house I think, because I enjoyed watching the tapes but nobody made any real progress so I guess it was just too hard... Can I make a mapshot from a recorded game?
You should be able to- just play back the game, and when you're in edit mode press escape to stop the playback, then + to take a mapshot.
Time to watch the replay!
EDIT: Haha, you seem to have been lured in by the button of DOOM!!! You had a 25.5k bounty- pretty nice, if I do say so myself. People are making quite a bit of progress, so I want to wait a bit before revealing the secret that makes all of these tapes so funny! Also, I hope whoever robs Lowery shares any secrets they might have noticed near the end...
