Thank you so much. I knew I was probably missing something obvious. I've learnt something very important. Don't let power sources touch things wink Unless, of course, they need touching. Thanks again, and happy robbing!

Okay. I fixed the draft up a bit.

Let me try explain as simply as I can. The robber will be coming where I set the horizontal wiring. Now, assuming he is smart, he wouldn't dare step down onto the electric flooring. So essentially, he would go all the way around until he got to the chihuahua. Now this is where my problem lies. Essentially, I want the toggle switch to be turned on (turning on the flooring), and then taking one step back towards where he came from and then back on the toggle switch (turning off the flooring). He would now be able to safely traverse the flooring. And, if he decides to cross the sticky pressure switch, I would like that to switch on the flooring and thus having no option of turning it back off. And thus being stuck in the dead end.

However, when I build it this way in game, as I enter my house, the flooring is already turned on without having gone on the toggle switch yet. Hence why I think I am doing something wrong. The toggle switch I put down is an off one, so the flooring should be off. Could anyone provide some guidance?

Can somebody please explain why this setup is not working? I am new to the game and trying to figure out configurations.

What I am trying to do is get the cat to the trap if they come from the first tile to the left. Otherwise, if you are coming from the right, you can obviously activate it then deactivate it and resume walking on it. However, with this setup, the floor is set on already and there is no way to turn it off with the pressure toggle switch?

What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: Forgot to add, I want them to head south and reactivate the floor and essentially end up in a dead end where they can't go back. So I want them to use the toggle switch, turn it on, turn it off, walk down across it and then hit the pressure switch and turn it on again.
