I know that Knights house has been broken for a very long time. The reason it is still around is that his wife is still alive and probably not worth going after for a couple of thousand dollars. If you walk in you can make it to the vault easily by walking to the right - just don't expect there to be money in it. There are lots of dogs around and obviously people still die while exploring the place and so the numbers just get higher and higher. It is generally my first go-to point whenever I am robbed down to $0 as there is always the chance someone has died recently leaving $100 in the vault.

Yep, her wife has 2100. so every time the number is higher its easy money

I haven't been robbing much, do we still get "the chills" after leaving a scouting mission that used tools?

No, it only give chills if u die or if you scouted that house and then die(no matter where)

isn't that a just a cheap version of the avaak's house?

If you want a cheap addition that kills people with that trap, you can add something like this:

Most people's inclination will be to take the "safe route" up first - doing so will make the bottom sticky switch receive power, however.  This means that if they decide to risk going down after that, they'll be fried the step the take onto thegrid

Thanks, i like what u said

i don't get the first one , how you can even die? the dog doesn't even activate the electric floor

The electric floor are fake, just a jedi mind trick.

The dog sees you from the first step so will keep following you.
as there are layers of doors, you don't know if opening a door will meet you with an activated dog. (give you no chance to drug/shoot it)

The only solution is to know you have to walk down to the only place with 2 doors and not three, then open 1 door, making the dog walk forwards. once the dog is stuck there, you can walk back up to chance which door is correct.

wow! now i get it, thanks

Just asking, how do you make a painting? or who creates the paintings?

#63 Re: Main Forum » The best house with $2k » 2014-02-12 15:20:05

I know there is not a "best house" but what i feel is that with only 2k you can't really attrac people and if you do with just a bit of luck they can reach your vault

Hi, i would like to know what is the possible best house/best trap sistem you can build with only 2k, what i mean is what most of the people could fall in.
I don't know if i expressed myselft correctly, (english not my main language)
Its just every time i start i don't know what to build. I have a really good house in my mind but it would cost more than 2k. If i just build a part, its not gonna be as atractive as i want to be. Any ideas?

Here's a very basic magic dance
http://castledraft.com/editor/2F6fF8

If the robber goes straight down, both buttons will be pressed and he will be fried.  He has to get the dog to press the first button, go back, and then go straight.  The first button will be off, so the electric floors won't turn on.  Obviously, (most) magic dance houses get more complicated than this, with failsafes, multiple "mini-dances", etc., but that's a good starting point.

The wire bridge is just what it looks like - it conducts power up and down, and left and right, but it doesn't connect up to right (or any combination).  A toggle switch is similar - when it isn't pressed, it conducts power up and down.  When it is pressed, it conducts power left to right.

EDIT: Double ninja'd XD

thanks, now i'm understanding a bit more

#72 Re: Main Forum » Any guide how to make a magic dance tramp? » 2014-02-10 09:19:55

Yeah, i know that, the problem is that i don't know how to build it, plus i don't know how wire bridge and rotary toggle switch works. Thats why i kinda need a yt video or a pic.

It's risky if a 2k tool kit can break it. If not, you should be ok.

A 2k kit can only force it if he knows the house and knows the trick. I built this house today so i think i'm ok

Your house is always robbable unless you are someone else is in it. Doesn't matter if you're logged on or not.

Now my house is at $12.000. You think its risky to leave it at that much and go to sleep?should i waste it ? Its the first house i have that reachs that and i'm kinda scared
