"Sitting at 2k line and hit refresh" means waiting for a 2k 0/0 house from someone who has died or started over and then left the computer before building anything. Bring a club to that house and for a 200 dollar investment you leave with 2000.

I think we're crying wolf a little early as well, I've noticed that robber interest is very dependent on time of day and day of week. One day I'll have 5 very careful visitors and the next a slew of people throw themselves at my traps with no thought or reason.

This was cleared up in correspondence with Jason, false alarm everyone, go back to your regular scheduled, murdering, robbing and turtling up your valuables!
What happened, if anyone cares, is that my buddy helped me put kitties in pits in my previous house, therefore technically robbing me successfully, and I then died robbing someone else so he could not see me and will not be able to for 24 hours.
Edit: Related: Jason is a class act, swift email replies to what is a small unimportant thing in the overall scheme of things and rapid resolution of problem. A++ would email again.

Could you do me a favor and search for Wilks and tell me if I'm there?
One of my friends can't see me in the list, has no-one on his ignore list and I am scared that I am invisible to more people, meaning less potential robbers.
Edit for possible latecomers: Issue was resolved, there was no issue, working as intended, read thread if you really care

But Iceman, houses are allowed to exist in a broken state, the problem with the original issue is that you can leave your wife there even if you come edit your house. With your option you have to let someone get half your money or kill one of your kids every time you want to do it.

Man I lowered my value to leave the computer for the sake of sleep, but lowered it too much apparently, no robbery attempts overnight. I think my house looks too scary for having only 200 in it. So if anyone is doing giftruns Alexander Henry Dillard could use something in the vault to lure someone in!
Edit: Nevermind, I died trying to up my value by notool robberies!

I clubbed your wife in cold blood and found your vault without the use of tools and I want you to know that the money will go to the protection of my own family, that is the only reason I did this.
Imagine my surprise, when John Bryan Webster, who should be attending a funeral and needed to keep his poor motherless children clothed and fed, showed up on one of my security tapes... I watched him bumble through my house, obviously upset over the death of his beloved wife... and eventually, he fell to my traps. Now his children, I did not take note of their names, are orphans... Thanks JWG, I found all this out when my house at the moment fell and I actually built this I felt dumb for the floor bordering up to doors part, but what can you do, hehe.
I don't understand clocks well enough to modify them in a way that they will work like I wanted, is there somewhere I can see a circuit that works in that way?

http://castledraft.com/editor/ZSnxrH here the robber would have to use a brick to break the first window, then two ladders and then he can brick the chiahua itself. So for 20 instead of 6 you force him to use 1400 (or however much a ladder is) more.

Instead of the far window I would put a panic button as pets can't cross that tile so he doesn't fall in the pit.
