Re: The Fortress of Mr. Corey Phillip Smith

That's a shame, Matthias.  You had a nice puzzle at the start as well!  I'd guessed what to do with the cat correctly, but I didn't know why...

Re: The Fortress of Mr. Corey Phillip Smith

I'm so bored in my ivory tower. Since two days now, nobody put a foot behind my door. All the people ever do is playing with my dogs, but that is a deadly game.

It looks interesting. Cracked it on a first scout, but I think it wasn't finished.

Thanks, AMWhy for bringing a crowbar to your last visit. Always a good time. Gave me some motivation to rearrange some floor tiles.

Damn it.  Every time I get to that stage, you shake it up again!  Time to crack the entrance once again!

I once had a $300K house and killed myself during a robbery in the most stupid way: I shortened the power of the trapdoor i was standing on.

Re: The Fortress of Mr. Corey Phillip Smith

Saturday night was on!! It was rumbling in my place. Mr. Guy Mark Nelson came over and brought some guest presents. Somewhat between $40k-$80k. $80k 0_o So generous. Sadly Mr. Jones used them all for himself and did not leave anything behind.

And Mr Albert Hector Reyes checked by as well:

So, I guess AMWhy has some contenders after all.

Re: The Fortress of Mr. Corey Phillip Smith

@Eppfel, I won't be worrying too much if they failed with all those tools.  I would love to attempt your house with a tool collection like that.  I tend to mostly be a 2k suicider or a paranoid home-owner.

@Passive, I was wondering the same thing...

Re: The Fortress of Mr. Corey Phillip Smith

Are you, AMWhy, recently visiting with door stops and waters?

Re: The Fortress of Mr. Corey Phillip Smith

Yeah, that was me.  I figured I could take three attempts at the top puzzle with $800 of door stops and water to allow me to reenter.  The first time, I miscalculated the cost and the second time I got lucky!

Re: The Fortress of Mr. Corey Phillip Smith

Holy crap. Seriously, that's enough tools to go straight to any square on the map you want, isn't it? How do you protect against it, by making the location of your safe a guessing game?

I did a couple santa runs with either bricks or doorstops. Doorstops are underused! I prefer doing santa runs with worthless goods, but OK, if you promise a fun time...

And just now Albert Reyes threw away $2400 of tools on my broken house because he didn't even bother to peek in the front door before barging in with a gun! I guess he a) has an alt, b) didn't like my house and wanted to smash the place up. At least he is a very moral man and didn't shoot my family!

I am going to change the phrasing from fun to being a dick, just one house is begging for it.

Oh yes, I can get behind this! I started by clubbing one at your house!

As promised it is done. Ran out of clubs but was pretty fun. Been really expensive though as i went on and failed to brute force somewhere else so in total lost about 4k :d

Re: The Fortress of Mr. Corey Phillip Smith

Alas! If only I had dropped more clubs! Was satisfying to watch. Would be too bad if you left; most active person around here.

Edit: I see that someone finished off most of the other dogs. Does it save the map if you kill a family member and die?

Reyes and Nelson had their chance. So, after they both hit the $25k mark I had to bring them down. even made $10k and $16k profit from it.

The death of a family member makes everything permanent, even if the robber dies.
