3 Quick tips:
Your wife can be easily killed by a brick, a gun and a drugged meat. Keep your wife out of shooting range or do not reveal her position.
Your 7 paths with cats: the missing wired walls indicate one of those two hallways could be the exit. Look for consistency.
When you want to avoid people exploiting your chiawawas behind glass: Keep distance, so they can't b drugged and use a pit, so robbers can enter only with a ladder, plus a panic button, so the animals do not fall into the pit.
I would really want to try your house, but I have the chills. Maybe later.. if your still alive.
I think it is said in this forum many times, but this game is about to die in the most annoying and crushing ways. In my opinion your suggestion would not improve the game. You should fear not having thought about certain tools and also this would make robbing houses more difficult, what is not an improvement as well.
If you want to know how certain tools apply, just check the wiki and happy tile counting. ![]()
Also, the test server is a good recommendation.

I translated the game to German (items not included). Tested it and works well. One flaw: the phrase "after X died" ("nachdem X gestorben sind") had to be placed in the next line and is off canvas in default resolution (as you can see in the last screenshot).
Just download his language file: German.txt
..and place it in the language folder of the game. Edit the language.txt to German and it should work.

I habe das Spiel ins Deutsche übersetzt (ausgeschlossen die Gegenstände). Ist getestet und funktioniert. Ein Makel: der Ausdruck "nachdem X gestorben sind" ("after X died") musste in eine zweite Zeile und ist in der Standardauflösung außerhalb des Bildes.
Einfach die folgende Datei herunterladen: German.txt
..und in den 'Language' Ordner des Spiels legen. Dann die language.txt in German ändern und es sollte funktionieren.

The Über Fire Floor
It is a doubled sided update to the Fire Floor posted in the first entry of this thread. Most people die on their fourth electric floor tile and I believe it is, because they only look straight to the end of the floor and overlook the cat standing partly in the shadows. The cat sees you already on the third tile.
A version with an even steeper angle works as well: The Über Fire Floor on CastleDraft, but the cat can be bricked.

I want to support the fuel proposal and not because I just lost my first 'advanced' house to the first 'advanced' player visiting. It is because, how it went down. The house was worth 40k, the tools were worth 25k-used. From jeres formula it would have been 47k and therefore not worth to rob the house. It was fairly easy for him, because he was not tricked by my decoy routes and I did not rise my defenses for a while, because I wanted to actually see my traps in action. Because at least 95% of the time robbers fell for the traps, I created right at the beginning. And the intruder did not even care for any traps. He even misused a lot of tools, just because he could spare them (Wire cutters, instead of just water).
I don't vote for invincible rich houses, but brute force kills creativity and that's what this game is about. So far, I learned the most about building traps not by playing, but by reading these forums.
