ok i do not, repeat, not understand the turner house. I have scouted with door stops and dog meats every which way. i am returning with saws. I do not get 1. unavoidable pitbull 2. that 2nd cat. 3. that first cat!!! 4. the son.
yeah, even though this is my house, I really wanna divulge, but I suppose that doesn't make much sense.
it is a 1 bit clock. the house goes on-off-on-off-on-off....
I think what really got you was the perma-power triggered by any incorrect step.
I have stared at that house and scouted it very heavily lol. I was one of the first to die in it a few days ago, was impressed by how simple and deadly (although obvious brute weakness). I don't want to say too much but I'm pretty sure I have the general idea, which is basically line-of-sight + dance. I suppose I could take 2 door stops and meats and keep trying. maybe I will later on.
here is the map for the other house in question, which is gone now, pretty sure. it's reallllly simple, but walking around it had me scratching my head and I just had to brute it, which is how I got the whole map. http://castledraft.com/editor/7J8SfC
the part that amazes me is you left only a $100 bounty!
I assume you dropped by in response to the fairly expensive scouting I did of your place a few days back. as you know, I made it to the south right corner. now that I see the rest of the map, I see my next string of trips (which were coming up shortly) would have likely netted me your vault.
Very very impressive run, though. equally impressive is your patience, I think you had 240 deaths or so!
(edit: spelling)
I am Eric Roberts, star of the greatest movie ever, 1989's Best of the Best, and that is my house you have posted, sir.
hint: contrary to the popular adage, in my house, what goes up must first come down.
lol i just took another look at it. was wondering what the upper buttons did. duh. i'm an idiot. still i like it
i just shot a dog that I could not and cannot comprehend how to move w/o tools. the house is super tiny and fits in the upper left corner. The dog is directly on vault path. and there is only one path.
i'm only guessing cullman. but serious kudos to whomever designed it. i have no freaking clue. i am trying to avoid spoilers. but damn i really wanna post the map and let cylence, iceman, or blip enlighten me
curious how many steps my 2nd tape was (the long one with 1 club and 5 meats)
haha yes that was I. i did a lot of exploring
hmm, i just found a decent bounty in a big empty house full of cats and dogs. wonder if that was you.
you had a nice collection going. Chrome, infected, ceci n'est pas une beetle, etc.
sorry to see the bad news.
self test?
you're right, i do love your house
even though numbers are declining, i do think we are getting new players every now and again. I have had several scouts die recently by stepping into the space between them and a pitbull "frozen" behind a cat-in-pit.

how does the power door ever lose power in the steel wall island in upper right?
kill the cat, then swing the chihuhua to close the powered door and when you walk up again, he'll be able to hit the button.
ahh the cat. i tend to ignore them if i don't immediately see what it is they do. bad habit. ty cy, you're amazing
i cannot solve.

sad.
So, I'm going on a vacation for one week and I thought, why not use the cash. Very nice House, tiger balm. I was so happy a brought those two crowbars.
But the trapdoors visible from your entrance was a huge weakness, because i was in the center of your house and path and your family was just around the corner.
I hope you have fun in my house and with my collection, but this is not the last time you have seen Mr. Case. ;-)Edit: obsolete you posted first
thank you for the kind words, eppfel. also, you have my consolations.

Yeah, your house is broken, I took all your money, and in a bit, your paintings are going to auction after I starve to death locked in by powered doors in my own selftest.
Sorry 'bout that.
lol blip, you're aces, baby.
nothin' fancy. also a ton of weak spots. yes, family protection is weak. as hell. no, there is no need for the two pits east of the rear entrance dog; in fact it is foolish to lure people that direction. the same can be said for the trapdoor/powerdoor/6 wired walls commit gate. i saw it in a house. i liked it. i put it in.
aaaand earl michael case got me! aaand killed my family. new target, blip.
ouch. you were up over $50k if i recall. dat stings. sorta. i really like how easy your house is for you in self test. it also must have been hilarious watching people dance their way north.
i think someone would have brought only wire cutters and waters, found the kill-step and the power doors, and then returned with 1 cutter and however many waters and, say, 5 or so crowbars.
then again, i have very little serious robbing experience. i robbed only one house over 30k and i actually got pretty lucky to find the vault on my 2nd run with a heavy kit.
to anyone interested, the failed (although just barely) attempt on my house this morning made by vaultkeeper was 40 saws, 12 ladders, and 14 explosives.
I feel the same way about alts. I appreciate as many attempts as possible. However I do agree with the issue of people who bring in 2k and purposely feed a house then rob it with a main. If one of my 2 accts is succcessful i build with that house. And I do not feed it with my other. After a successful robbery they operate separately.
Although I did not bring 1 meat 3 times. So that was not me.
yes, i agree that using alts to pump up your main is not cool, especially when it involves exploiting a weaker house/player. leaves a very sour taste in the mouth.
ah, someone this morning died on the 3rd visit after correctly dancing on the 2nd visit.
tigerbalm, I'll be going for you cash and, more importantly, paintings probably starting Sunday, so you still have a little while to wait.
looking forward to it. btw, and this is just a general disclaimer: my house is not a staggering work of heartbreaking genius. not much that can be called original going on here, sad to say. it has sorta a greatest hits of classic traps and commit gates. if i saw something i liked, i put it in. but vault keeper did very very well with his kit and has learned enough to do most of the house sans tools, so...it's a race!
who'll it be? blip or vault keeper? or a third, as yet, unmasked villain?
won't be long now
Tiger i believe some of your concerns about multi accounting are my fault. I lost both my houses yesterday to pure stupidity and luckily thought I properly mapped your dance. Then brought my 2nd and died as I quickly learned i made a mistake during mapping.
i'm not concerned i did very much enjoy watching the tapes you provided with the alt who brought one meat 3 times. perhaps you can return tomorrow with your corrected dance map, assuming no one else makes a serious attempt in the interim.
in summary, bring on the alts. it's educational
