Just try first with chihuahas and indicator lights . A big point of this game is that you can die in your own house and they will not remove it

If the house is impossible without tools then you can obviously not do a self test on it without fixing it up first.
You can get a timeout by AFKing (unless it was changed), but you cannot take tools with you this way.
He can repair the house, solve it, and then with his alt just broke it again

Technically yeah, it violates that idea that all houses are solvable without tools, and breaking your house intentionally is a bit of a dirty trick.
In practice, there's no way you would solve any house in that range without tools anyway.
The idea is that you can solve any house with no tools, even if you have to try 1000000 times, you should have a chance to solve it, even if its 0,001%.

Curry (Who I think is JWG) robbed my house with tools just a day ago, which isn't possible with a broken house, and I think he's robbed more since then. So the reddit post is definitely just someone whining.
Even if he did have a broken house, it's hardly "cheating". You can't go out and dump tools to keep your value down, you can't go out and rob other people approaching your value, you just have to sit and watch while your house is inevitably brute forced.

Impossible to solve without tools. Houses at that price range tend to be disassembled by tools anyway.
But in that case the house is solvable only with tools, no one with 2k can solve it, not even if u have luck, because its insouvable. Thats cheating

So i just read this in castle doctrine reddit:
"For anyone who doesn't know him, he is sitting at the top of the lists with over 100k. He has bought 30+ paintings and literally cleared out the store for anyone else to have any.
The reason he is a selfish player is because he has a map that has already been broken once (probably by him on an alt account) which makes it impossible to solve without tools. I make this claim because once you get past the opening screen of his map, there is a dead animal in a pit that is not a result of the player.
Now he is just sitting back accumulating loads of money while people die in his rigged map, and taking all of the paintings in the process.
It is not fair for the rest of the userbase and I sincerely hope someone has enough cash to brute force him and take him out. I've already tried and died.. go figure.."

Contrast to that moment when you're going through a self test in your well-established house, you turn a corner past your commit gates and see a closed powered door that you thought would be open...
i almost rage quited the game forever when that happened to me

This house actually got me a lot of high bounties. It fooled a lot of careful players (but they've since caught on).
It fooled them because they saw a cat on the other side, and they saw the power flash on and off twice; "oh, this is just a trap to catch people who immediately go down". They try to wait out the cat movement and then they step on the grates. But if they do that the cat gets stuck in a position that will kill them as soon as they step on the third grate.
Most people aren't familiar with the kind of magic dance traps you can make with cats. Most magic dances are only position sensitive (and most cat traps are only timing sensitive). This one is both timing and position sensitive.

what you mean by robbing a poor? I usually roob people with 1100 house value and 1 kill (santa!) But its just to get a bit of extra money because the profit often is just 400-600

Here's a simple trick house I've been using. It's really secure and keeps the robbers out, plus keeps my family safe. With 9 different failsafes, it's a hard nut to crack, unless you know what you're doing really well. I was hoping to extend it with a second trap but I died.

It's just a | and _ wire put together. Electricity flows up and down, and left and right, but not up to right
like a wiring? so the only thing a wire bridge do is flow up and down, left an right, but no up to right or down to left?

those are the 2k suicides, if you enter home with tools, you will lose them anyway.
so they "may as well use them all", which is the main downside of not protecting your family with a starter home.It's the opposite of Santa runners.

So i had a 400$ value house, and a guy with a 2k kit enter, killed mi wife, my dog, broke my sistem and then just leave, why waste 2k on my house?

Nope, and nope Had no tools and I think i have robbed easily 12 safes. or had i guess lol. I just am frustrated it wasn't me that killed me... or even that i walked away from the pc i have done and died but this time it just shut me out.?
Well today i had a 20k houses and i just drop it all by trynt to steal a 600 house, ends in dead. I'm a complete idiot
