It wasn't Blip... ...
I have failed :'(
Your secrets are safe.... for now...
please excuse me!
very nice work, indeed, sir!
i think you've learned very very much, and I have every faith that you will succeed on your next run.
if you don't mind me asking, how did you come by the funds to rob me so quickly? i'm not concerned about dual or tri or quad accounts, just curious.
anyway thank you for the visit; it taught me much and was very entertaining.
go blip go!!!
i'm being robbed right now and it's the most fun i've had on TCD in weeks!!
I died quite a few times in your house. I remember that dance looking MUCH different a while back... but the same principle. I believe it was your house which was the inspiration for my current house.
..... For the record, I never reached the south wall.
Thank you for the visits
you are correct that my dance looked different previously. in the initial stages of building the dance was over electric floors, or course. but after i made the switch to trap doors, my wiring was a complete mess behind the concrete and a major saw-weakness. I reworked in castledraft, ended up flip-flopping which dog does what and cleaned it up nicely, while leaving room for easy dance step changes if i choose.
whether my house was the inspiration for yours or not, i'm flattered to be among the nominees.
I'm currently sitting with a nice collection of paintings I like. Was tempted to hoover up all the cheap paintings but would rather curate a collection I like looking at. Please feel free to stop by to take a look. You're looking for Donald David Johnson's house. I've left the door ajar.
Collection:
Woman by the sea
Aero
Dead End
Surge After Hokusai
Storm Center
Inspiration
Sentinel
The Escape
The Knowledge of Good and Evil
very nice, indeed
of those my favorite is Aero. never had the chance to own it, but i've held Cona (Kona?) also by andy nealon, and aero is definitely his best work. nice grab. perhaps after Blip relieves me of the Dermotillomanians, I'll swing by for some closer looks.
nice moves!
i will not change my dance steps; i'm quite enjoying the tapes (they're longer than 4 steps!)
happy hunting
Well, I am rather averse to dying right now.

When will you guys realize that owning part of that set is a kiss of death? I have and will continue to pursue those paintings ruthlessly.
yarp, Blip, that is Precisely why i chose them
come teach me a lesson
Since there are so many paintings thanks to Blip, and prices are low, i imagine they will be scooped up steadily over the next day.
I have recently acquired "Ceci n'est pas une beetle" which is my personal favorite and one i've had my eye on for quite some time. This is the first chance i've had to hang it on my wall, and I must say it coordinates well the general motif of the house.
I have also picked up the entire Dermatillomania series. Do stop in if you care to admire them.
I have noticed several of the nicer paintings have been purchased already; is anyone particularly proud of his buy?

egads u're right!
THE BOTTOM KID IS WAY MORE EXPENSIVE. the top kid can be killed with i think only 3 guns and clubs. The bottom path requires a gun for each dog. the difference is not to do with the single or double tile hallway width, but just pet movement mechanics.
on the bottom path, the cats will all jump in pits and the dogs will not move, and will remain stuck behind their respective pits. NOT SO for the top path. When going up (and east) if the dog and cat see you at the same time, (or more accurately, if the pit is empty when the dog sees you) then the dog will just walk right past the cat pit.
test it out. i think this makes southern family paths way stronger.
however, if you remove the pits, and just alternate dog/cat/dog/cat (like this: http://castledraft.com/editor/FjKqqD ), then the reverse is true: the south path dogs would all become clubbable, and the top path would all require all guns.

Have you noticed that dog before?
Edit: Most people only notice after successfully crossing the east trapdoor, and open the second door to find an insta-death they didn't expect.
sorry, no. i was referring to the hint sarcastically. upon 2nd look, tho, seems there are more solutions than i thought

who robbed geyer?
This value is decided at character creation, so someone created that character while 50 bucks was the bounty.
are you saying that name has been alive for months? the only way that's possible is if he never ever set his house, even an empty set to scout around.
sweet house blip, i dig the gun-requiring dogs at the end of the first half of the north east combo lock. do you think you can be back on top in less than, say, 48 hours?
Donald David Johnson
James Charles Mills wasn't scared a bit. I would have returned the favor to Mr. Mills ... however. Did you see this guys entrance... DAMN!
i have seen his entrance, and i disapprove. it does not feel very hospitable. and its owner's courage is second to none.
i've been adding on to the back of my house for nearly a week, all while keeping my vault in its stage 1 location. today i finally tested and tweaked the entire back end of the house, moved the vault to its final position aaaand survived self test yay! the house is now ready and I will likely let the death toll and dollar amount do they thing for a while, maybe find out how much this house can hold.

everyday i am reminded that my house which i love is nothing compared to actual good houses. gl

40 paintings
It's more than 40 now. I just robbed Mitchell.
Edit: I just realized that, if I rob Buckley, that would make my total, if I counted right, 89. Which is 2 more than my previous record.
Or, of course, I could die in Buckley's place again.Edit #2: I miscounted. I robbed Buckley and now have a total of 99 paintings.
blip, you ball so hard! <3333
thankfully there is nothing to interest you at caldwell's
i like and liked it!
thanks, I'm pretty sure I scooped up several of your saw kits from broken houses.

------Enjoy.
intimidating as hell. so much space at the entrance devoted to flare. makes me wonder what lies beyond. no alt account, tho. so I won't be finding out any time soon.

Hmm.. I don't get your "i don't get it." What don't you get?
I can follow the flow of power. I understand the mechanics of each tile. what I do not get it how the hell one comes up with this design, how to recognize and deduce the likely correct path/dance, or how to modify and implement a design based on this into my own house. seems too much to mentally juggle. kudos, though
Amen. Everything in my house, more or less, is a copy of a copy, from magic dances to bit locks, i use them, but no way could I have devised them. Many other things I do not possess the skills to even copy and safely implement in my house.
