Depends, on personal situation - but most of the time, yes, you are correct.
Let me guess, there was a dog in the way of the Children? xD
Different tracks of music would be good... or the integrated ability to stream music from a folder, etc.
The only problem with this - is that it encourages Home Owners to create traps they know will take a very long time - So that if you even have Five tools, you will not make it to the end. Though, no one is really that OCD with this game... right?
Yeah, but getting them to trigger traps will make it more likely that they will die. Otherwise, you're just looking for horrible people xD
This does mean that people who start with $2000 and come in, to smash up your place. You will only get $50 for killing them, meaning that in the long run, you're losing a lot of money...
P.s. This is Anti House Owner and Pro Robber in my honest opinion.
This is a good thing, otherwise the rich get richer, and the poor... well *shrugs*
Use your children as triggers for leaps of faith traps. Sooner or later, someone will shoot them.
Same as a Dog Leap of Faith, except panic buttons and towards the exit.
Or even a Commit trap, either destroy the wall, or bludgeon the child *shrugs* Good luck with that.
There is nothing in this game that actually stops people playing in the same room as each other. Nor will there ever be, most likely.
I.e. - If you, your two friends, all three had the game. Then with your Laptops or whatever, played together. One person could try the house, the other two watch. Then the second person tries, then the third. Nothing stops people from doing this. *shrugs* Though it seems unfair, it is how the cookie crumbles.
As for actual hacking, the source code for this game is open... so potentially, they'd have to somehow hack the server? or derive a program that translates everything into a number system, to regurgitate on a browser (Castle Planner, etc). I doubt the Creator of the game is actually going to be able to create an Anti cheat system for such a simple game (Yet frustratingly complex to play).
I wonder if anyone's told anyone this - But I would suggest people tell their friends to use the 2k they get to start with and try to rob someones house with tools. That way, money gets distributed if they die, or if they miraculously succeed. I did this, and started building a house at 20+ thousand dollars, cause I bumbled through someones house.
The fact that people build a house with the 2k, and rob random low costing houses, means that they will never gain money the easy way (Letting people into your maze to die) and will keep dying while on jobs. So why not go all in? In for a penny in for a pound, as they say in Ireland. (Yes, that's if you're going to get jailed for stealing a penny, why not go for a pound)
