Are you, by chance, Charles Sylvester Gerald? I was thinking about uploading your replay but I think the file size would have been too large
I was building this house specifically to put money into circulation and then this happens.
I didn't even think it was really possible to die in this house if you had the least bit of common sense...
I was attempting to replace some leap-of-faith electric grates with some powered trap doors earlier (the key thing about them being they were operated by rotary toggle switches) and it was pretty difficult to do since I had to flip the whole thing on its side in order to make the energy flow correctly. Basically what was supposed to happen was 1. The grates were turned on. 2. You step onto the grate 3. It becomes unpowered. This was considerably harder to do with powered trap doors, because you had to do the exact opposite with them. Since there's not a rotary toggle switch that starts horizontally, I had to destruct the whole trap and rebuild it vertically in order to make it work properly. What I'm suggesting here is that we need a new version of the Rotary Toggle Switch that starts horizontally. It would be loads more convenient and we would be able to build more traps and take up less space/time/money.
When you successfully rob someone, like, get to their safe, does it auto-ignore that house? I just got to someone's safe and grabbed a club to kill his wife afterwards, but I went back and I couldn't find his house.
My house is around $1300-$1400 and this is probably the most long standing house I've had.

I, for one, always sell the tools. When I actually have a house up-and-running that can keep off at least 5k worth of tools, then I'll start stockpiling tools to use against other people. Until then, I'm going to keep selling tools from 2k divers and use it to upgrade my place. Since I haven't had an actually successful house (except for when Noonan died in my place, but that doesn't exactly count because I died self testing that house shortly after) I've been selling tools to spend on more complex mechanisms for my house.
only at 10% on the playback
:I
EDIT: the thing crashed halfway through, but I did go back and use Ctrl + F to find Noonan, and he was in there.
and you didn't get the screenshot?
but yeah, all I saw was the bounty and I immediately rushed the 'return to house' button to not appear on the list.
oh, yes you're right.
I'll go get it right now. Might be a while, however. I tend to idle whenever I play so I can tab back in and check my tapes.
EDIT: Just checking, but is there anyway to edit out idle parts of a recording without screwing with the rest of it?
lol thanks for the scare
Somebody -I forgot the name because I was so frantic about getting rid of it- dropped a FUCKHUGE bounty of 236k in my house. Naturally, since I know nothing about well thought out traps, the best I can do is magic dances, door lotteries, and a combo lock, I was trying to get rid of it as fast as possible so bruteforcers wouldn't destroy my house. I put concrete walls, powered pits, wall dogs everywhere. I was buying and reselling tools. I was basically doing everything I could to avoid being public enemy number one. Then I have 4k remaining. after all of this I go to self-test my house.. and... I.. I PUT IN THE WRONG CODE ON THE COMBO LOCK. 236k house right down the drain. gg no re.
You'll never break my wooden wall facades
pls go
Died in my house with a 24,600 dollar bounty.
Had a house utilising basic clocks and electric floors, died after succeeding a door lottery. Was this anyone?
