I just died, too, in a house that looks like a built up version of ursaphobe's pit-dog dance trap. I'm now going to guess that was Kinezan that toured my house, and you have now literally opened vast new doors for me as a robber. I have to go, but if I crack a decent house soon, I'll try and figure out how to share it.

This is going to sound like bragging. Apart from the one time I got robbed blind while my house was very fresh I've never had anyone get more than 1/3 into my house and toward the vault. I guess it's because I keep my worth low until I'm confident it can take it. Problem is I could end up doing what you just did with your house.

EDIT: You explored a few dead ends and got in the right direction, but I wouldn't say you were close.

Yes it's safer than way since if you let it go up to 30-60k people will start to come in with many, many tools and might even get to your vault...

Keeping it at 5-15k max is safe since there is no one than will come rob your house with a 30k worth of tools you will mostly get suicidal 2k robber which is always fun watch them die horribly like I did.

I'm starting to feel it could take a harder beating, though. But any house can be cracked wide open with skill and a little luck. I'll make a few modifications (really) and let it gather wealth. It can be an experiment. "How long will it live?" - kinda like the "Will it blend?" movies.

Alright so I decided to go rob a lot of houses and I will list the number of starter house than I defeated and the amount of time I got to the vault, died and was able to leave with my life.

Number of 700-2,500$ house robbed 27

Got to the vault: 16 times (Always killed myself by the vault)

Died trying: 7 times (Most of these was obviously NOT new houses with thousand of dogs and electric floors and steel walls.)

Ran away 4 times (I killed myself by the door)

I got the 16 GIf where I get to the vault if some of you want to see them I can always upload them and show the links some of them are pretty funny at how bad and easy they house were lol.

One of which I cracked then gave to friend for starter money.

None of the houses ive beaten recently did i brute force... except for a combo locks but there was only one of them and it was a small part of the puzzle. Each one I actually figured out after a couple of scouting runs.
