Opening doors without being killed by pitbull

Hi guys,

I just watched some security tapes and I am not quite sure if this is a bug or hack. One of the robbers opened a door with a pitbull immediately behind it. The door was opened, the pitbulled didn't do anything. Probably took a nap or something... The robber did that twice...Am I missing something?

Post tapes or it didn't happen. 

But seriously, there are certain circumstances where a dog will not immediately go for you when you open a door.  They are:

a) You have a chihuahua at your heels.

b) Umm.. that's it I think.

unless a pit bull is to your south....

ah damn, did not know that he actually had a chihuahua at his heels...hmm gonna remove this "dog" thx for your help!
