Maybe I missed the memo and this is expected behavior but I've noticed several times I get the "Your house is currently being robbed" message and then when I get back in there is no new security tape. I know way back in the day this happened for various reasons, but I thought all activity now left a tape. Even a disconnect should leave a tape, so what gives? I've noticed this happening a lot lately.

There won't be a tape if they had no tools and took no steps, as in they just pressed left after entering.

I also noted something similar. I have sold all my items and modified my home then later I returned and there where new items in my vault, but no new tapes. It may be a bug or may be simply that there is a delay before the tapes actually appear.

Ah ok. I had seen 1 step non-disconnects before but they had tools.

So now I know there are people scouting my house but I don't know who they are.... scary! Of course, this is a tactic I should use too.

A number of tries (like on the main list) would be nice if nothing else..... I probably have commitment problems that I was totally unaware of.
