Need help with clocking

A bit overwhelming, when I look at them, so I'd like to ask here if my idea is possible, if I can make it work. I'm not quite sure what clocks do to begin with, haha!

I want a clock that makes a 3 part electric floor in an alley work in this fashion:
First 3 steps: no electricity
4th step: is electricity
5th-6th-7tht step: no electricity

If it can be done with little added space I would love to make it 5-6-9, but I figure it's cheaper and easier with 3-4-7

Basically, guy walks in, walks on electric floor, and after 4 steps, he dies seemingly without a trigger, whereas I can make 4 moves, landing the 4th immediately before the electric floor, and than safely walk across.

What I'm asking for is a: ,,Yes it's possible", or a ,,It's possible, but it's expensive and takes up a lot of space", or a ,,No, It's not possible".

If it is one of the first two, a blueprint would be hugely appreciated, in case any of you are bored tongue

Thanks:
Jabloko

Edit: I've just realised that a build with a repeating off-off-off-on cycle might be simpler, if it can be done, that's great too!

Yep, it is possible. It'll take quite a lot of space but it's not too expensive.

Do you want it to repeat and cycle, or just turn on once?

Re: Need help with clocking

This does what you want I think, it turns on at the fourth turn, eighth turn, twelfth turn, etc.:

$426, connect your trap to where the electric floor is (you can remove the electric floor)

Re: Need help with clocking

I've managed to suicide myself in my own house with great intelligence, so I think I'll build a house that fetures this, thanks so much!
