I've only been playing this game for a few days now (at least that is how I perceive the time passed) and already I am addicted. I knew there was potential for enjoyment when I read about the concept and saw the metacritic scores...This type of gameplay is rare...and I can't stop. When I first got it, I spent two days almost continuously playing. I would make one dodgy design after another, brute force attacking the learning curve in a bleeding edge attempt to master my new found distraction. I think I am now at an intermediate level and am starting to lure four figure robbers with nice tools to their deaths. I know there are much greater adversaries out there, and I welcome a visit from them any time

Good thing you can always count on permadeath to break your addiction.
BTA, What's your name?

lol... I'm no threat to anyone. My current home has 5 dollars and zero infrastructure.
I was just wondering if I'm not one of those robbers that died and left nice tools you speak of.

It's ok, Circle. You can tell me. I'm a little kitten compared to these other mean guys. Can't you at least tease us with a picture of your entrance? I swear that I'll be good.
Who wouldn't trust that smile?

HAHA....it's exciting swimming with the sharks...but eventually you will get eaten
No, not until I feel I have learnt enough from this design will I release teaser info to attract the big boys...I believe my place has no flaw which would allow a 2k burglar to get anything at all, but somebody with enough tools and information would destroy me...

Noone is untouchable. I'm not a shark yet, just a fat trout. I can see the sharks circling, and I love it!

I am getting a bit bored with my place...as big a leap of integrity in secure design as it was, it scares away all the fishies....after I finally startle my own dog in the dark, I'm gonna go on a huge charity run, then settle down to start devising 'inviting' setups...

Just keep your value over 4k and it doesn't matter if you have a commit gate, you will get hoards of 2k robbers. If your house survives long enough, this will continue until you hit 10k and then you will stop seeing anyone.
It does help if your entrance looks inviting though. My commit trap is a very simple design, but unless people have seen it before they do not even know they are committed until it happens. It's nothing groundbreaking, but amazing how many new players fall for it.
