Unintentional ingeniousness

I just made a deadly and counter intuitive commit trap by mistake. While I was self testing I was thinking "Erm... That's thing wasn't supposed to get power... Shit. Shit. Shit!". But I found a workaround and survived. Anyone else had that happen to them? It's like those stories you hear about accidental inventions (and weird foods). Now, come and die in my house.

Rotary toggle switches... Sooooo sexy.

This is one of the more w00t moments for's like being 3 again and discovering that lego is not only pleasant to put in one's mouth, but can be useful for other things too...

I like this game smile

Re: Unintentional ingeniousness

I actually had plenty of moments like this with a particular house of mine:

I made a doggy door like this so it wouldn't open before the burglar had took the way to the magic dance;

A total of around 30 burglars or so have died from stepping into the switch, taking a step back to see what was behind the door and then trying to go through the way of the magic dance again.

Self-testing is torture.
