Download the latest version

Hi all,

Yesterday I purchased the game through Steam and played it for several. Today, however, it is displaying a message saying that I have to download the latest version to play. If there was a new version since last night, and I can't find anything to suggest there has been, shouldn't Steam be downloading the update automatically? Can anyone help with this?

The update is in progress right now. Steam will download it when its ready. No one can play ATM.

Thanks, that explains it. Thought I'd broken it already. Although if the new version goes beyond Mac OS 10.5 then I'm Donald Ducked as I'm stuck on an old Mac just now.

Nah there is small patches now and then. You will see changed when they are in effect in the "News" part of the forum. Also for every previous patches.

This update seems to have wiped my account - is there any possibility of this or am I missing something?

I had a secure house this morning. When I logged in after update I'm a fresh spawn....

Seems like Jason did a failed Self-test on hes house with this patch.

Sounds like your settings files got overwritten. You guys could try to delete the "email.ini" and "downloadCode.ini" (make a backup copy before to be safe!). They should be recreated on the next start with your correct data.

Frost, i did remove the game completley from steam and reinstall it. All was wiped.

Hm, you could try to just remove those two files instead of reinstalling the whole game. Otherwise I have no idea.
