I had a $280 house That literally was up for 10 minutes - completely brand new. It has an immediate door that locks behind you and you are trapped. After that there is a 1 in 5 chance of finding my vault or dying. The very first robber to visit this house period came into a $280 house with $2000 of tools. He waited for the cops to come, but I believe he scouted the whole house. Then 2 civilians came in and died. Then Craig Jason Phillips who has a very expensively built house walks into my house with zero tools, no way to get back out, right into my commit death traps and picks the vault exactly. So in my opinion without a doubt the first guy came in and scouted the house and waited for the cops to come so I couldn't see his scout. Then Craig Jason Phillips who has a ton to lose comes in and perfectly picks my vault out with zero tools even though he has plenty of money to bring a dog meat or a door stop to be safe.

clearly you need a more secure house. as i said in another thread yesterday. offering real money is not in the spirit of the game, and i'm sure you'll be sorry you wasted $50.

I was tryng to get to a more secure house. This was a house built with $2000. So when two guys come in and drop 5x the value of the house in tools on purpose so another guy can pick them up, that's not really in the spirit of the game either. I am raising my bounty to $150 for a complete razing of the house.

first of all, I'll see what i can do . second, my standard 2k house has never been broken, ever, and routinely gets up to 16k before i change it. you just need a more secure house. I doubt you'd really pay though

Listen, I too have a very good $2000 model that isn't broken even with tools, this was meant to be a house that generates income while I was out hunting, so less about protecting my vault and more about getting paid 80% of the time. I don't even mind the occasional idiot that comes in with $2000 of tools and breaks it. What I don't like is him waiting for the cops to come to conceal his scout and another very rich player coming and stomping on my ability to even get started. Unfortunately, I have the chills on most of the other houses that are beatable with $2k of tools right now, so a trap house on $2k was really my only option and it was very viable it had 2 legit kills in the 4 visits and 10 minutes it was up.

I think the point is that if it was that easy for someone to use your house for wealth transfer... you need to come up with a better design that you can do within your 2k starting budget. Or at least the foundations for the full monty after a few bounty/heists prop your wallet up. It's a learning experience... albeit a painful one at times.

Because I believe dual accounting is cheating and ruins the game as I keep saying. So I am not going to engage in it. Plus as mentioned I have more time than money this weekend. Also, better chance of success crowd sourcing this.

You know how many dual accounts I've had in my house today? Probably all my kills because some people are finding the way. I sit my house at 1st risking that, KNOWING what is going to happen. Theres 1 of 5 really active people who will rob me and I am fine with that.
