First $600 bounty in ages

So, yeah. Whenever I'm sitting on my lazy ass waiting for bounties instead of robbing people, I only EVER get $100 bounties. Today was the first >$100 bounty I've had in literally 3 lives (each one lasting a few days). He came in with >$2k worth of tools, some explosives for some reason, and some other tools that would work better. He died in 4 steps. Lol. But the idea still stands; is everyone else having nothing but $100 bounties?

Re: First $600 bounty in ages

Every now and then I get a good one. On one of my first ever start-up houses, I hit a $3100 bounty - the guy came in with a few tools, brute forced his way to my vault, and committed suicide next to it.  I still have no idea why - it's not as if my house was a great one, for which he would get satisfaction from showing off simply that he could break it. I also had no idea how awesome an opportunity that was for me to turn my house into an impermeable death trap, and so I spunked the money on stuff I wasn't using properly and then died on an amateur robbery!

Generally, I reckon about 19/20 of my bounties are $100.  However, this is because I'm still not worth enough for any experienced robbers to spend money on tools to try and get me, so I'm just catching naked scouts and the odd $2k beginner robber.

He was leaving money for his alt.

I had someone leave $50k of bounty in a house with $3k in it only to be picked up by Bishop a few moments later.

Re: First $600 bounty in ages

I don't think he was necessarily leaving money for an alt, I've had someone break into my house like they could read everything and run right up to my vault then suicide. No follow up attempt ever happened, and I did not change anything, I was curious if there would be a 'main account' attempt, and if so a target for my next life.

I believe that he broke into an old version of my house in successive 2k dives, but since he was 2k diving he didn't want to destroy my house when he wouldn't even use the money. Maybe if he mapped out enough houses he could try to chain rob them all in succession and really get on his feet?

Fair enough.  It's just been my experience, that when that happens someone comes right in, never have scouted your house before and walks right towards the vault.

Hey look cullman - your 7th or 8 forum in a week that you plague people with your bad experiences. If you knew any better you would have stopped when your last bad idea failed. Then realize when people logon and see you constantly complaining - is worse than people who you think cheat. If you valued your time so much you would simple understand and quit this game a long time ago - instead of spending days bitching about the same thing. Do what you do - we will all see through you.

It's funny the people in the original open source community ridiculed me, called me names "cuntman", etc.

Suitable - not adequate.  Maybe The Boy Who Cried Wolf?

How about you change that concrete tile up and right from the entrance to a metal one. The one with the Cat next to it and above it.  When I can see that it is you, then we will see who is crying.

LOL You want me to reset for you to prove something? Even if you rob me its not a big deal. I wont be on here complaining, maybe you get a congrats for once. You change something in your house for me, see if I care. Think about it, I owe you nothing and don't even care if you believe me. Maybe I need a little more money before you try.

Easier solution is you would have walked in - give me your name and I come re-arrange your blocks.

Right; if you take 1 step forward into someones house.... I would know your name then I come visit you; we can make love by your vault. Then you would believe me?

Off note : That guy entered my house over 150x in a row the other night is super cool. It's like 17 pages long?

edit; math fail - before the forum warriors get me!@ that's only 136x! No estimations allowed that's considered cheating!

That was me. I was on a chain-robbing spree and meant to enter the house directly below you on the list, as the tools I had would have been effective against it (I think). I accidentally clicked on your place, and figured why not give your house a shot. I had no house, and was going to lose the tools anyways.

Re: First $600 bounty in ages

Well, he did show up and just start talking about alts... again.

Back to the original topic: I actually had something very weird happen two weeks ago, once Harris got rich; I got a $200 bounty! That means that somebody who had been alive since before bounties had been made $100 had come and died in my house. I was pretty surprised to see that.

Cause that is what likely explained the strange behavior OP was seeing.
