Re: to the scouts who made it to the south wall of Caldwell's

I died quite a few times in your house.  I remember that dance looking MUCH different a while back... but the same principle.  I believe it was your house which was the inspiration for my current house.

..... For the record, I never reached the south wall.

Unknown.... thanks Blip

Thank you for the visits smile

you are correct that my dance looked different previously.  in the initial stages of building the dance was over electric floors, or course. but after i made the switch to trap doors, my wiring was a complete mess behind the concrete and a major saw-weakness.  I reworked in castledraft, ended up flip-flopping which dog does what and cleaned it up nicely, while leaving room for easy dance step changes if i choose.

whether my house was the inspiration for yours or not, i'm flattered to be among the nominees.

please excuse me!
very nice work, indeed, sir!
i think you've learned very very much, and I have every faith that you will succeed on your next run.

if you don't mind me asking, how did you come by the funds to rob me so quickly? i'm not concerned about dual or tri or quad accounts, just curious.

anyway thank you for the visit; it taught me much and was very entertaining.

Tiger i believe some of your concerns about multi accounting are my fault. I lost both my houses yesterday to pure stupidity and luckily thought I properly mapped your dance. Then brought my 2nd and died as I quickly learned i made a mistake during mapping. sad

i'm not concerned smile i did very much enjoy watching the tapes you provided with the alt who brought one meat 3 times.  perhaps you can return tomorrow with your corrected dance map, assuming no one else makes a serious attempt in the interim.

in summary, bring on the alts. it's educational

Re: to the scouts who made it to the south wall of Caldwell's

I feel the same way about alts. I appreciate as many attempts as possible. However I do agree with the issue of people who bring in 2k and purposely feed a house then rob it with a main. If one of my 2 accts is succcessful i build with that house. And I do not feed it with my other. After a successful robbery they operate separately.

Although I did not bring 1 meat 3 times. So that was not me.

tigerbalm, I'll be going for you cash and, more importantly, paintings probably starting Sunday, so you still have a little while to wait.

Re: to the scouts who made it to the south wall of Caldwell's

to anyone interested, the failed (although just barely) attempt on my house this morning made by vaultkeeper was 40 saws, 12 ladders, and 14 explosives.

yes, i agree that using alts to pump up your main is not cool, especially when it involves exploiting a weaker house/player.  leaves a very sour taste in the mouth.

ah, someone this morning died on the 3rd visit after correctly dancing on the 2nd visit.

looking forward to it.  btw, and this is just a general disclaimer: my house is not a staggering work of heartbreaking genius.  not much that can be called original going on here, sad to say.  it has sorta a greatest hits of classic traps and commit gates.  if i saw something i liked, i put it in.  but vault keeper did very very well with his kit and has learned enough to do most of the house sans tools, so...it's a race!

who'll it be? blip or vault keeper? or a third, as yet, unmasked villain?

won't be long now smile

Well, if Case's vault is still where it used to be, I should be able to grab his cash pretty cheaply. And I know I'll get all of it, as he has no wife; I killed her myself.

Of course, I have 2k right now, so I'll need to chain a bit to hit Case.

Edit: Case is down. Now to make a nice new house. I have some spiffy ideas to make a cool place.
Edit 2: Just locked myself in a room with no way out in my self test. Probably should have removed the door before testing my failsafe. tongue

Re: to the scouts who made it to the south wall of Caldwell's

nothin' fancy. also a ton of weak spots.  yes, family protection is weak. as hell. no, there is no need for the two pits east of the rear entrance dog; in fact it is foolish to lure people that direction.  the same can be said for the trapdoor/powerdoor/6 wired walls commit gate. i saw it in a house. i liked it. i put it in.

Re: to the scouts who made it to the south wall of Caldwell's

So, I'm going on a vacation for one week and I thought, why not use the cash. Very nice House, tiger balm. I was so happy a brought those two crowbars. But the trapdoors visible from your entrance was a huge weakness, because i was in the center of your house and path and your family was just around the corner.
I hope you have fun in my house and with my collection, but this is not the last time you have seen Mr. Case. ;-)

Yeah, your house is broken, I took all your money, and in a bit, your paintings are going to auction after I starve to death locked in by powered doors in my own selftest.
Sorry 'bout that. tongue

Next time I will create some new traps for you, Blip, I promise.

Don't become another David Michael Scott. I've robbed him four times and he just keeps on coming back.
