Who was George John Rodriguez?

That was a very complicated house, and still actually couldnt figure out how to get past the leap of faith trap with the pit bull at the bottom of the map.

I tend to find that if you over-complicate your house it tends to leave significant weak spots like the one that allowed me to clean you out. Kudos on the nice design and it took me 4 suicide runs and I had to rob Mr Barnes to fund my fifth run and robbery of you.

The 17k + painting was put to good use in building a good portion of my new masterpiece. Thankyou.

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

yea i got past that bit too, its the bit after that where u traverse to southern most trap door and you have the pitbull in front of you, behind him is a standard "pit bull 2 spaces behind you to pass" leap of faith that i couldnt figure out.

The nothern-most trap door you can take leads you ultimately to a dead end, even if you brick the switch to get over the second trap door, upon stepping on that same swith it reveals a corridor going north with a cat that locks itself behind a powered door, which was a dead end behind it anyway. That cat needs to be scared south via a door near the entrance i believe.

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

That was Eppfel's house, I believe.  I solved it a while back and it recently came back again.  You DON'T go past the leap of faith.  You go past the dog! wink

Hint: The chihuahua is very helpful.

yea i thought u may have needed the chihuahua at ur feet to get past somehow... i didnt pursue that avenue of assault very far after finding an alternative weak spot

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

Hey, please solve that house on your own. I will rebuild as long as I don't die until it is finished. I created it, so it should be hard to brute force, but possible to scout, because all traps are accessible. It already has 7 vault locations. ;-) I hope you enjoy scouting and solving it.

PS: The weak spot is fixed. thx, for pointing it out.

PPS: To forestall accusations of dual account cheating. I rebuilt with the help of Mr. Lawson.

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

I dont think its your most sturdy design, looking at ur rather impressive history.

Art is art i spose

Or is it quite unfinished?

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

Unfinished? For sure! (Which house isn't?) But sturdy it is. Don't let yourself be deluded from the ugly entrance ;-) And I acquired some artwork recently to brighten up the entry hall.

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

So, who is visiting the Rodriguez mansion?
For the ones waisting all their tools, when they're stuck: I have no love for you, when you destroy value in a game, with such few players.
For the ones disconnecting without leaving a tape: I have no love for you, when I build a house, which is nice to scout and chills are just 2hours.
For everyone else: Come for a visit. I will update my house, but I won't change finished traps.

Don't be scared off by dead animals. I like to integrate broken stuff into my house design. The Case house had a bridge of 4 ladders smile

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

Yeah, I noticed with that Dead Cat Trapdoor Early on...I was really confused until I saw it with the power off. I thought all my Animal Movement knowledge was obsolete! tongue

Yeah, I'm only just getting used to the scouting thing. I'm trying at the moment to work out that pair of Trapdoors you have (Early on. It's only your second trap I think tongue I'll have to check out that bottom door I thinks...

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

Youll get there mate, when i started playing again last week i just missed (by a matter of minutes) on robbing THREE different top end houses coz someone else beat me to it or self test death.

Now, i have made three robberies in excess of 15k each since then. Persistance!

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

So, who is tool-less suicide scouting Rodriguez so hard?  それはトラップである?
Please, bring some tools to add up the total value in TCD or at least contribute to me building more traps. ^^

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

I too have had A LOT of tool-less (naked) robbers on suicide runs. I dont get why tbh, if its to stop me from making more money off robber deaths then id say its not really holding me back that much AND i dont think its worth the trade off of not being able to use tools when scouting.

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

That may be me... I went tool-less a few times to see how repaired it was. E.g, I went and the third cat was missing tongue

And who are you Amatiel?

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

Phew, Mr Rodriguez just survived a major self-test. The wonderland now includes 3 new vault locations! Come in and enjoy!
A lot of visitors now understand how to cross those pits. And some found out how to cross the dog commit afterwards. But after that not much progress. There is one path only AMWhy found so far.
I think there are going to be 2-3 major(10k) updates until the map is complete. After that I will let it rise in value without limit. And remember I will never change a trap, so scouting will be rewarded.

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

Which one?

Surely ur not referring to the one in bottom left hand corner... as that one is obvious as to how it got there

Re: Who was George John Rodriguez?

@Amatiel, yes, that one.  It's obvious how it got there, but to me, confusing how it's still there... If it was my house, I'd remove it as it's presence gives me a hint where the vault is located through the process of elimination (hard to explain without giving away some of the secrets of the map...)
