having to start over because of a single construction error..

to be honest, i think people will quit this game after their project goes down just because of a single wire placed wrong etc.

you put 30 min of working in a house, you rob 4k and upgrade it. you spent around 2 hours total making your cool room with incredible traps, only to die testing it out because it's impossible because of a single wire.. so my idea is to instead lose everything once you die in your room, you get a coupon with like -0,5*(amount room is worth)+500 as a debt.

so let's say your room is worth 10K gold and you got 1k in your storage
5500-1000 = 4500$
-0,5 * 10k + 500 = -5500$
-5500+1000 = -4500$
you rob a house of 2k, you get 0k of it and you get rid of 2k of your debt, so you got -2500$. money.
after that you rob a house of 5k, you get 2.5k of it and your debt is now over (so you got 2500$ now)

if the person thinks his debt is too high compared to his rooms worth, he can suicide, but if he thinks it isn't too high, he can steadily get rid of his debt, while keeping his room.

if you don't like the debt idea, i would like it if you would simply not erase a persons room just because he died in his own room.

Removes a lot of consequence IMO, people could just ignore the debt or slowly pay it off with not much incentive to start over.
