Huge Bounties

I just had the largest bounty I think I have ever have die in my house. The robber had a bounty of about $29, 500 just for dying in my house. As far as I understand that means that they have been successfully robbing ALOT of other houses vaults correct?

Re: Huge Bounties

Yes, bounties work like this:

$200 starting.

+500 for each vault reach (with a 1-hour timer that prevents you from reaching the same vault over and over to pump up your bounty)

+1000 for each person murdered.

So... 29 murders in one lifetime really isn't that many!

Re: Huge Bounties

Also, does it count killing wife and the kids in the same robbery as three murders or just one?

Re: Huge Bounties

Murdered people only includes wives and children that you shoot or club whilst robbing.

So, if you enter a house and take out the wife and both children your bounty will increase by $3000. If you just take out the wife it will increase by $1000.
