Setting up own Server - can't see other peoples houses

Hey there,

i just set up my own server with own secrets and everything. 3 People already built their houses and tested them more than 5 minutes ago.
Still i can't see any robbable houses in the client. The server side tells me that there are 3 robbable houses ingame tho.

Any idea where i went wrong?

thanks for any kind of advice!

I don't want to go off topic but can you explain how you managed to build the client?

Re: Setting up own Server - can't see other peoples houses

I saw your thread. You seem to have problems with MinGW on Windows? I use Linux, so no need for minGW. Sorry to disappoint you.

For a build on Debian 7 i needed to install some packages to build the client. This is the command line to install them:

sudo apt-get install libglu1-mesa-dev libsdl1.2-dev

I might try building it on Windows for you as soon as the pc of my girlfriend is free of viruses again. Then i will report back in your own thread.

I'm using Ubuntu VMware for this. I have a minGW problem of headers and include paths.

I also apt-get'd those before. along with mingw.

I am compiling FOR WINDOWS, on Ubuntu.
