Is backpack active when I'm not in another house?
I just filled up my backpack with $9000 worth of tools and then exited my house. I left my game on the home list screen and left my computer. I came back expecting to rob another house with all my tools only to find out I was robbed and all my tools from my backpack are gone too? If you are not currently robbing a house does your backpack stay in your vault?

This has happened to me before but I think that it is because if you re-enter your house, your tools go back into your vault and you have to re-put them in your backpack? But this time I did NOT re-enter my house.

After 5 minutes away from home, without robbing someone, tools will return to your vault. This was added a while ago to stop people hiding value in their backpack.

For how long? I think you time out pretty quickly to avoid someone using the backpack as a second vault.
