I made a house, had a lot of bounties coming in, now I'm swimming in $$$.
Scouting is very important. With some luck and that, you'd get the vault in a few seconds.
You have to think about obv. things, and thats it.
I added the pitbull to create distraction and make person less-carefull of the real traps, but yes. This robber was stupid enough to get a lot of distraction and panic.
Maybe he was hoping that the door will squish the dog which unfortunately did not...
I'm just impressed because the pitbull does nothing if you pass by.
and I'm like, "Good thing I get so many kills!".
I want moar bountiez.
I just wanted to share this with you guys.

And no, it's not me. Some other lame robber trying to get me down.
Every death means the people that has a brain failed.
It's like saying "7 million people tried doing this but they failed, how do I success??".
A hope-breaker.
If this is possible, would maybe a "default loadout" be a possibility? When I start a new life I pretty much just chain-rob with $2000 worth of tools until I have enough for a decent house.
Needless to say, I die a ton of times doing this. Having an "y/n" option for beginning with a predefined loadout of tools would be nice.
Currently build of mine does this:
Everytime you load a map;
"What do you do? SEND 31 as YES" (Don't ask why 31.)
If I press 31, my 2k budget house gets built automaticly.
I'm sure I can set a default-loadout easily.
When does the map load?
- When you start building a house
- When you watch a tape
- When you rob a house
Noooooon. Get your house built up with non-deadly traps like path blockers and it's done. You won't get bounties.
If you did set SharedServerSecret, I don't know really.
Get your own server working where you test your castle prototypes.
Make sure THEY DO WORK before coming to main servah.
By setting a few things in setHouseMap() you actually can make a quick function to determine if the current house is a starting house, THEN;
- If it's some other chain-robber's house that was left un-touched
- If it's really yours.
Asking a simple "y/n" allows the instant building of the house, and you can use castledraft.com to encode your map that you want to build.
The balance and such seems unaffected while setting them, but after the self-test, the money gets drawn from your acc.
So it's really nice and easy to use this, BUT;
Is this allowed or forbidden?
PS: No, this can't make you get an house without a wife, server denies.
Sebastian, If the guy had tools worth less than 2000$ , it might have been me. I remember suiciding for teh lulz.
Now guys, I'm sure some knows and some doesn't.
But, we can use google dorks to fortify our castle!
"How????" -- you ask.
It's really simple.

Go the link above.
Have fun with all them trapz.
Why an encoder? What's the purpose?
Combo locks are as good for the game as other puzzles are. For the most part, with other puzzles there is no way to solve them intellectually, because you don't see the wiring behind the walls etc.
As you said, combo locks are often easy to brute force, so why campaign against them?
This.
The game is open-sourced :3 Coding something like that wouldn't take much.
Bump, Also I'm using Ubuntu, cross-compiling for Windows. To clear minds.
I'm using Ubuntu VMware for this. I have a minGW problem of headers and include paths.
I also apt-get'd those before. along with mingw.
I am compiling FOR WINDOWS, on Ubuntu.
I don't want to go off topic but can you explain how you managed to build the client?
Seperating the playerbase would not be a good idea.
The newbs will die and die, 'til they learn to survive.
then they learn it.
BUT we need a guide on robbery side.
This is really interesting. I wonder if you get the same amount of money for each one you kill. It'd be pretty interesting to also have a huge army of wives.
This might be happening because of how they return to their places after a robbery.
I sense multiple-account money-loading technique. ;3
I doubt if they will ever stop, the game is all about finding the true hallway and entrances after all.
I don't see any change in finding true code than finding the true entrance.
bump
aww go away with everyone having different names..
we wouldn't have infamous villains such as adrian ernest pounds if everyone saw a different list!
Agreed.
also, with 24 hour chills, knowing the name of your other house is not that useful at all.
It is.
His system wouldn't do anything though. A cd-key based name gathering would not do much as the guy who has multiple accounts could easily have the names reverted,
OR
could build himself a new copy without this feature// Encrypting upon 1 key.
