And why is that Chihuahua there?
So people waste a brick and go... Oh... lol.
just me guessing of course
yeah, it only travels in straight lines, the power will not "turn corners".
I just saw someone defeat some simple traps, drug a dog, find my safe that had not been emptied... and then started going left and right. Then suicided in front of the safe. If that is not botting, i don't know what it is (i can't believe it was some santa, he had no tool left and no bounty)
You have been visited by one of the many "Santa" run players
Wow, the wiring... confuses me.
HAHA!
Good work on the wiring side, I mean you've given me the blue prints and even so, it's confusing to follow.
However, you may want to look at brute force prevention in your next home.
14 waters + 1 crowbar + ladder = 14*100 + 1*2400 + 1*1800 = 5600
5600 isn't much, even if Morrison came in 3 times and used 3 times that, he still made heaps in profit.
You throw yourself at someone, you die, rebuild one hour, rinse and repeat until you luck into a vault worth...300? Did your tools cost more? Too bad.
I highly recommend you NOT doing that, when you start out with 2000, you should make a choice.
Build
Rob
If you build, you don't rob yet, get income by babying your house every bit of cash you get from people dying you use to develop the house some more.
If you Rob, then use ALL of your 2000 to buy tools. first go out with no tools (you have 5 mins for your new home to be displayed to everyone else) and scout a bit. Then come back with 2000 worth of tools to brute force the place. (aim for home values above 2000 of course). Once successful, use the , say 4000, in loot to rob someone even higher.
This is what people call "chain robbing". When you want to stop is up to you.
But once you get a large sum of cash, build your dream home.
Yes, I spent about $3k on someone else's house just to mess with the game economy. Unfortunately doing something similar with Knight's house will be difficult because the dogs fear all the dead animals around his entryway.
Some people just want to see the world burn
haha!
I see you guys have found my latest addition to his house.
What did you do?
sleep the dog's in really bad positions before looting?
This still just looks like it would take 2 bricks and 1 water to solve, and it costs a whole lot more to build.

Isn't the range of bricks 4?
Edit: Also, you can't actually even see the top chihuahua, taking the cost down to 1 brick and 1 water. Even if you could see it, it wouldn't move onto the switch when you step to the right onto the grids.
Yes, your right... the field of view doesn't even go up
What about this version? I'm hoping this one is in field of view properly.

TIL if Jere wishes hard enough you disappear from the lists.
I'm glad I don't know my own name, Jere don't you dare find out, coz it seems once you say it, were doomed!

Those dogs... 1 step death trap
It's the end of an era
There's still Clark, Knight, and Williams
Once I'm in the game is doesn't lag, but the start up is definitely slower. Only builds up the anticipation every morning I guess
Speaking of novelty I highly recommend filling your walls with dogs.

I love houses like this. Two bricks is all it takes.
This would screw you over though right?

i don't need easy money, i have over 20k and i'm just saving for cool paintings, i was just commenting on the fact that i think all the suicide robbers have the chills on my house right now.
Yeah, you know when its that time of day when the robberies suddenly stop happening?
the "daily" suicide scouter have all gotten the chills....
I'm just trying to think of a way this can be incorporated into the theme of the existing game though.
Maybe once you get to a certain level of cash instead of buying painting, you get a "letter" from the lawyer's saying your "ex-wife" is asking for alimony, that you now need to build a house and protect them as well.
You can always let them die..... or have a 2nd home to protect
In any case, there needs to be a limit on "how many" homes you can have.
Pandamonium wrote:Wow! That one is well priced.
Yeah, I had to shave off heaps of the walls and made them only "2x saws" thickness to keep the price low.
I find if your below $200 next to no one visits.
Btw, I've realised my previous trap doesnt have a clear path for the family, so here is a fixed one.

wire cutters...
Once you are in the middle electric floor, wirecutters won't help as there is quadruple redundancies in place.
That's just really hard to use unless u have monospaced fonts.
I'm sticking to castledraft
whilst I do like the idea of being able to control more than 1 character, I don't know how this would affect the balance the game.
There are times when you reach "end game" and are so... risk adverse, it gets boring.

Since we are all sharing our money, I may as well give my take on this trap
Obligatory "G'day" to my fellow Australian.
Thanks for telling me my name!
Holy mother of monkeys your welcome mat view is scary!!!
Do you get much commitment?

If you do this house, shift the whole thing to the right by 1, and add the column i added at teh end to the beginning, it makes for a very nice commitment trap.
That would require your family to be dead?, i guess you can shift it across some more, but that may require some vision checking first, I'm not sure when the chihuahua would first see you in that scenario.
