the ability to pause or delist your house for a certain number of hours
This I am not entirely sure about. Could be used very heavly for pay to win depending on how it is implemented. For example "Mala is constantly trying ot break into my house, however i know his usual play times so i make sure i delist my house then."
Agree that something needs to happen to make banning cheaters actually hurt them.
Could certainly be part of your paid extras I think without giving an actual advantage.
I do like Mala's idea of different checkpoints. "Someone has passed checkpoint one". I think even simple ones such as "Someone has died in your house" would be worth part of the $$$ paid for extra.

I find it very frustrating to get robbed only to never see that persons house. (maybe they die trying to rob another place, but that can't be the reason everytime)
This is important as it stops a dual account exploit in which you have one account constantly robbing another respawning account for $2000. With no time limit you can make ridiculous amounts of money in a very short amount of time doing this. With short time limits you can still make a fair amount.
Yea i get that, but when there is only about 5 of us playing getting the cool down on 2 people would pretty much end the game for you for 24 hours
Hope you do come back, as i just logged in this morning and there was only 4 houses
You brute forced your way though my house so many times while other failed. But could not get to my wife. Figured you could use the 80k of cash from my death.
Merry Christmas!
I have only one account; so I don't know my own name. Perhaps you could share it with the group.
I'm the doggy dancing trap door that has been in the top five homes for Months.
Gordon Aaron Bushnell. I wondered why Henson suddenly shot up in value. I managed to have a walk round the house after it got brute forced and before you died, was very nice looking.
After a bit more tinkering on the free server. I like the idea of the bots as a way of adding money. However the sheer amount of tools/scouts to crack them simply isnt worth the $2k they have to loot. I think if you are thinking of having them in TH they would be to be scaled with more reward for the harder ones.
Did you paste in all the addins? I have been on it but ever now and then it does struggle to reconnect.
On another side not for TH i think the bit were if you rob someone and then they die and our hidden from your house list for 24 hours should be reduced or removed. I find it very frustrating to get robbed only to never see that persons house. (maybe they die trying to rob another place, but that can't be the reason everytime)
The bots have $2000 and 0/0 but with a $50k sort of house. Also after robbing them it tells you who designed the house and you can up vote or down vote the map depending on if you liked it.
So far I havent used many of the features. But I would say the save map one is good, and I think could be something you include in the paid version as a nice time saver which doesnt give you an actual advantage.
Will report back on the other if/when I use them.
Made a house, but all the rest seem to be bots.
If if I were you i would wait. The game is a lovely idea however with the player base being so small it doesn't really work that well right now. Check this forum for news on Terminal Hiest which is a re boot that Cullman is currently working on.
Really don't see the point in map hacks. Then again even when I had eppfels mr smith full map I still had to brute force it lol. So maybe if you have a complex house doesn't matter that they have. Thats the problem with como locks I guess. Well that and that they are really boring.

My video gets cutoff before fraps finishes... but you see everything you need to.
Just seen the video and i would have to agree it is a bit suspect. I have been in that house loads trying different combos and didn't even get close.
We are still cranking on it. We were writing a new graphics engine, and then we decided that we bit off more than we could chew. Since then we have decided to abandon that approach for now. So we are resizing our new tiles for the old engine and started getting them plugged in this week. We should have a beta program soon. We have been at this over a year (granted not full-time), but we want to get it the door!
Cool. I shall keep my fingers crossed. I have recently made a house again on the App, but the neighbourhood is really dead now
Hey guys, just wanted to let you know we haven't disappeared. Been very busy with the day job. The day job just had a product release last week, so that should allow us to get TH over the finish line. I am targeting getting into Beta within the month, with our own dedicated server. Assuming the beta goes well, we will invest in marketing to try to attract a big enough audience to get the game back to it's previous glory!
Hows the testing going? I am still poping into TCD every now and then on the last android built you sent me. Hope it is going well.

I am still lurking. Not playing though.
Not been on the forum or gate for a little bit. Any news on the reboot cullman?
I tried something similar before.... people just smashed straight through it
Huh linville is gone Evens is up by 20K
another death?
I dumped the Noble money in Evans as my house relied on having my wife, who someone killed for $1000 at a cost of at least 5 guns.
Dunno how it would work but one thing i would quiet like is to have is tiles with arrows on them. Would be fun to have tiles pointing in the "right" direction and watch people decide if it is a bluff double bluff bluff bluff.
As for free to play, they seem to get a lot of stick if people think that one aspect it pay2win. I am currently playing H1Z1 and there is loads of threads about one feature being pay2win, even though in game it really isn't. People have just caught onto the idea and started raging about it, some with only 1 hour of game play under their belt. I think you might be better pricing the game at £3 (roughly $5) to buy. I personally have a lot of games in that price bracket that i haven't even played yet but they seem interesting and I didn't mind parting with the amount. You could then have add in features, but again would have to be more aesthetic and personal preference. One f2p that is currently doing it right is Nosgorth were the only things you can by are different but still have -ve's so that they are balanced and don't ruin the game if you never buy them.
Sounds really good, looking forward to it
I forget if it was in FT or just a suggestion way back, but electronic windowed curtains were a good idea (linked to a standard switch). If closed, animals can't see you and, of course, you can't see them!
Kind of like a powered door you cant go through when open? I think would be good as well as currently have to use pit and door to achieve it.
ahh so who was it that planned to wreck my house using door stops? killed my daughter to try and save it but when you came in the house had already been broken, by you... you jerk. you came in with 2k tools to wreck the place after you robbed me for 8$. thats pitiful mate.
9 door stops and a club to wreck the place that you already broke into just for funsies. now that points out a jerk. fortunately for me no matter how hard you try now and how much of my family you kill in the process you aren't getting past the first door...
now i typically don't call someone out on being a massive dick but this douchbaggary i will not stand for.
Good Day Mates.
4k tools to rob $222 but made sure that they used all tools after finding safe. They shall then just die and get another 2k to go be a dick with. @douchebag the community is small enough. But now I see no point in trying to build a house so well done. One less house on the list. If you had the decency to leave a house up for revenge I wouldn't mind what you are doing.
Any how see every when cullmans game comes out.
i do enjoy the dog ones too but figure they are mostly done by accident i guess i could make one that is done on purpose but it would be a fair bit of work for something defeated with a single meat. unless i go about making that the only path.... (new designs being drafted.)
Sometimes by accident. But if i can when robbing i sometimes try and leave houses more deadly, so that they build up some cash/tools for me to come back with. I have previously spent more tools just to take a dog back to the front door before putting it to sleep
mala wrote:i'm curious about that... how can it became unsolvable after the first successful robbery?
what's your name btw?
not sure on my name tbh
its actually really simple and i can't believe no one used before (unless it has and i'm unaware). At the beginning a cat sees you runs down hits a button that opens all the doors then dies on an electric plate. You can rob the vault (its just a strait shot no gimmicks). after that the cats dead and the map is saved as is so the button can not be pressed to open the door and thus no vault for you. just for my own joy i made it exceptionally hard to break through so you must spend a lot of money to break open the doors.
I currently have 16$, wife and kids at the door, cat visible over some pits at the entrance, all next to a powered door.
You are Michael Samuel Ackerman. Has been done before, Eppfel had a very sucsseful one that needed a cat to close a trapdoor, but once it was done once was every expensive too get round. I like the ones that leave a dog right at the door so that first step people get eaten. Most people don't even think and just step out
