Rest in Pieces Dane Willis Padget... At least you have a plan so you can remake your house most of the time I lose everything and I have to start from nothing even if these days I'm tired of killing myself in my own house so I don't make any big house and only have fun robbing houses.

If you want to kill yourself in a house or try to take your wrath on someone steal me > Stephen Dennis Reed

I think I poked into this house a few times... it was slowly climbing over the last few days.

Putting your vault 1 wood wall from the combo lock logic was a bit risky, but I guess you were just worried about the 2k raiders.

Just so you know leveller, your house was pretty brute force-able. It only takes 1 gun, 1 wirecutter, 4 waters, 1 explosive, 1 cutting torch(or 3 waters, 2 explosives and no cutting torches), and 2 saws to get to the vault.

Well I do take some money to make it a bit harder since yesterday I got over 10k and few of them almost got to my vault so I need to make it harder to steal...

I do uses this house to rob other people and so far I did a good job at it, but if I lose the house I won't be able to continue robbing. =/

Yeah, your house is  secure from 2ker's, but someone with money could brute force it pretty easily. You'd only need a few dog foods and not even a dozen saws. probably not a house you'd want to go over 20k value with.

I visited this house lots but the powered door right at the entrance frightened me so I ran home.

Thanks for sharing this house smile  What I like best is the gigantic red herring in the upper right.  Drill and drill and find a litterbox!

Yes, i know. The problem is i make a simple but effective starterhouse, then i have trouble expanding...

What I did was I built a started house that's really effective. I'm not going to share cause I don't want anyone knowing it. Then, while it's going, I planned on Castle Draft an entirely new and awesome house. Then when i got enough money, i just removed my starter house and built a whole new one, all at once.

that's my way too, i build a solid house that takes only the lower part of the house, than i start planning/ upgrading the rest of the house (that way, i test new contraptions, but during the final test i just have to pass the same part over and over). once everything is in place i just erase the entrance and make a new one.

I never even considered using this technique to build towards a pre-drafted house... great idea!  You can even seal up your incomplete construction site with $2 wood to reduce inspections until it goes live.

The hardest part with this strategy is probably keeping one's family safe during the mid game, due to space constraints and build expenses.

Obviously this is just my opinion, but I don't even worry about the family. I just stick them right at  the front so they die as fast as possible and i lose as little money as possible from the wife death. It allows me to build much better traps.

Re: I have fallen victim to my own house. Here it is !

I use modules when starting new houses and I build the modules as I get the money to do so..  My current house has 3 modules to pass.  I got the 1 module maxed out, then added the second, then added the third.  As it happens, no one has ever got through the first module.  The first module took awhile to upgrade with concrete and other improvements.  But since it was built so well, I could wait and build my other two modules the way I wanted to without having to save more money.  Unfortunately, my house is above 10k, so people don't really rob me anymore.

Unknown.... thanks Blip
Unknown again because I thought I'd go on a no-tool revenge run on Blip.  Silly me........
