Can I set a Bounty on a multi account player?

Hello guys,

The game is great and stunning.

I have just a small castle running and had the follow:

A robber came in with a lot of tools. Then he take some tools and typed in the right code (how lucky) without analyse.
He found the vault, dont robbed and suicided.
After that instantly Ronald William Buckley came in and goes straight to the vault.
So he took my money and the tools from his other account.

I dont want to buy more accounts for me.
But I like to give some money to some they hauntet him.

Is this possible?

I'd like to help you out, but I don't quite understand what you are asking. Are you wanting to give yourself free money or something?

Sorry if I was not clear.

I thinking to give the guy who robs Ronald William Buckley, so that his name delete from the houselist, 10 Euro via Paypal.

But I dont want to break any rule.

For me that sounds good for the pros. Playing an getting some little money.

That seems a little extreme and underhanded. I'm sure you can recover and maybe go rob him yourself, which would be much more satisfying. Also, I'm sure many people will try to scam you to get the money.

Re: Can I set a Bounty on a multi account player?

After a quick scout with my alt, I can tell you that I doubt he'll go down anytime soon. His house has an upfront magic dance directly upwards, and possibly more stuff downwards. It seems well built and frankly, I'd rather not risk much for two shitty paintings and a bit of money.

Best of luck in taking him down to whoever decides to go for it, though. For all I know the place could just be scary smoke and mirrors.

Why you get personally?

Extreme and underhanded are the perfect words for these unfair playing people.
I can send the money to a trustet mod here.

No problem smile

Re: Can I set a Bounty on a multi account player?

Well it sounds to me like the first account he used came in with just 2k tools and managed to find the vault. Even though using 2 accounts is generally not like, if it was possible for him to rob you with just starting money tools, then your house wasn't very secure and anyone could have done it. You will feel mch better if you can rob him yourself. However, i kind of like the idea of having contracts in game. You could offer up money to rob a certain house. It would be instantly removed from your house. Then the first person to rob it would get the money. Maybe there would be some sort of loot division system between the robber and the personw ho offered the money. Paying real money though is not in the spirit of the game. two accounts is frowned upon, but some people do it and your house should have been more secure.

Haha. That was priceless. BTW, using two accounts is not always bad. Blip admits to it, and if all he does is use it to do 2k scouts and not drop money in his main, then it's fine with me. it's the same as just scouting over and over with one account until you have enough info to beat it, then building a real house to get the money to do it.

Re: Can I set a Bounty on a multi account player?

Actually, I just realized that Buckley has the final painting in the Sarsaparilla set that I have two of. I may rob him for that, but I wouldn't want to be paid for it.
It's sort of crazy that I'm not able to remember which paintings I have anymore.

Re: Can I set a Bounty on a multi account player?

If some one rob him and get my money he is happy twice.
I m hapy too. So its a win - win situation.

Only the cheater lost.

And imho an appendix on the gamespage like "getting more accounts gives you a big advantage" will be fair for the buyers.

Re: Can I set a Bounty on a multi account player?

If anybody wants to rob him now, I'd be very happy, if just for revenge. I died to a misstep in his place, leaving a $40k+ bounty; I meant to cut a wire and didn't!

Who is Ronald William Buckley?

EDIT: On a utterly unrelated note, I finally pulled off a 37k starter heist on a house I've been scouting for over a week.  Let's see if I won't mess it up this time...

Re: Can I set a Bounty on a multi account player?

Well, funny thing is... Lord0fHam _IS_ Ronald William Buckley... according to this post "http://thecastledoctrine.net/forums/vie … hp?id=2767"

That thread ties in to blips post below where he dies due to a wire cutter mishap.
