So i'm drafting up a new plan and need a commit gate similar to this one that we all know and love http://castledraft.com/editor/Zkn5j2
the only problem is i need it to fit upside down in almost those same exact dimensions... Curse you non rotatable voltage switches!
considering we have people who are considerable better at this stuff than me here i thought id throw this out there for you all to pick apart and eventually tell me it was quite easy or physically impossible.

as far as i know there is no upside down version of this commit gate, and there is no way to rotate a voltage trigger circuit keeping it the exact same size.
i hope Cullman will give us the ability to rotate voltage triggers in TH, right now we're forced to set electronics in specific directions because of this.

something like that should work

i gave you two version, but the first one is the one you want to use. power should not flow directly from the power source to the voltage trigger, otherwise you can saw the wired wall to isolate the sticky button and the pit gets powered back on.
here you can see what happen in both versions if you pass the commit gate then saw the wall to get back

Not as compact, but I like that you have to step on the plate immediately: http://castledraft.com/editor/fLP773
I built it accidentally in Smith's.

Ohhh these are nice i kept stumping myself with a 2 plate design but i guess thats not necessary is it, Thanks a lot guys
my last hope was building a one of the dog commits but since the house was trying to keep general freedom in mind i had to lock the dogs up in a rather large corridor where the player could release them one by one taking up valuable space.
