Thank you for finding the change log!
Had to use gfycat as the gif was too large for imgur.
But, can you tell me why he didn't just walk around like he did the first time?
what made it funny is i spent maybe 500$ on that one
Powered Pit $750
Wired floor $20
Switch $20
Power Source $80
Funny death, Priceless.
Yep, her wife has 2100. so every time the number is higher its easy money
My "list":
Knight - 2100
Loos - 1800
Clark - 700
The problem with this one is that it only really works perfectly if someone has already been successful at robbing you and left a while bunch of dead animals in your pits for you.

Too extreme?
What? really?
LOL!
I might be wrong, but I think the 'death counter' resets if the house gets modified by the owner, so they must be achieving those numbers by leaving their homes untended, which is awesome.
Yeah, the death counters reset after every modification-->Self test.
Which means they don't edit the house at all.
So either:
Someone knows the combination to get into the vault, and are constantly taking the money out as people die
They are loging in themselves and are "burning cash" (Buy -->Sell --> Buy --> Sell the same tools over and over)
I personally think its the former, but who knows.

i.e. Pit | Window| Dog
rather than
Pit |Cat |Dog
considering cats and windows are very similarly priced.Brick=$150
Ladder=$1800
I'm presuming the dog will walk past the broken window and into the pit?
Since dogs won't step beside a dead animal unless the robber's there, the cats in the pits keep the dogs from getting within clubbing range of the robber.
That makes sense now.
Pit | Window| Dog
==> brick window, dog walks into pit = $150 + $1800 = $1950
Pit |Cat |Dog
==> Ladder then Shoot Pit Dog = $1800 + $1200 = $3000
Edit: Pit vs Pit; confusing
* Thanks for the sub, Pandamonium!
Your first video cuts off very suddenly at the 10:00 minute mark.
Youtubers hate that, it's better to have it fade out with a "to be continued" annotation, and then upload a part 2, etc.
Your second Video has a far better production value to it. I like it.
The pits themselves are an obstacle which does not block vision and isn't as easily surpassed as windows and the cats are there so the dogs don't fall into the pit after seeing you.
I'm just thinking why they don't just windows instead of killing all these cats..

I'm guessing that dogs will fall into pits, so they use cats to stop the dog falling into the pit?
There will be a vid soon lol.

You'll get lots of starter tool robbers with higher house value because they're not going to waste their $2k on a low value house.
Hmm that makes sense! i'm still sub $500 having recently started again.
I'm using a cheaper variation of your trap
I never got any saws.
just murderous villain who came in a bludgeoned my whole family and stole everything
I understand if you don't want to post it, but what kind if "invitation" do you have at the door to have such a high commitment ratio?
only 1 in the 4 that come and visit me get into the trap area.
the dogs won't step on the dead cats.
sigh, animal behavior skill still is a very unknown entity to me.
How can you stop the dogs from falling into the pits? (trying to make it as expensive as possible to bruteforce)
Edit: Typo
Another thing to do is build the entry hall of your house first, self test it and then quickly return to your house. Now if you accidentally log out there is a good chance you won't be robbed before you get back in.
Yeah, people like me who don't know the first thing about robbing, see that there is a wall and run away.
(1 or 3 steppers)
See what I'm up to http://www.youtube.com/jimmijamjams
Clearly not TCD.
Whoa... are you really getting that high a commitment ratio?
Of course a house mostly made up of mostly checkered dogs and walls would not be particularly practical...
I'm struggling with the maths, but using a small sample size.
What would be the minumum number of tools used for say
The whole story is that you get chills on a house:
a) - if you die in it.
b) - if you enter the house with tools and then die later.
Ah... Thanks!
How about we limit backpack space to <311?
To Jason: http://gyazo.com/51c7cf7ca8ebe1381cdcb286c775dbd5 This is too overpowered!
The space we get is approx 30x30, meaning 900 spaces for you to use a tool on....
Ummm... Yeah I think there NEEDS to be a cap.
even if it something as arbitrary as total backpack space must be <900.
seriously...
What i do is make 1600-1800 house, and then rob some easy houses(800-1200 value) First i scout them, then i comeback with some tool (1 drug meat for example) so i can keep scouting intuil i reach the vault
I haven't been robbing much, do we still get "the chills" after leaving a scouting mission that used tools?
I still have to ask... why *.tga.
