Rotary switch traps?

Does anyone know a trap which involves a rotary switch? Cant seem to find one that uses it to its full potential.

Re: Rotary switch traps?

There are some good traps, in fact, I'm using one in my current house. I'm not going to show it, but you can do some pretty good ones with pets.

It's a trap!

I use it mainly for space constraints. However I had a few traps based on it and having a cat walk back and forth on it.

Here are a few threads discussing it.

Re: Rotary switch traps?

Here're two examples. The left one is a simple thing that can be made deadly if you put loose animals into the equation. The right one is a segment from one of my previous houses - it had people scratching their heads about the wiring, and where to direct the power. You can make pretty awesome traps with the rotary. It's my favorite house object, and strangely - I have no rotary in my current house. That has to change. tongue
