this one in the tutorial section appears to be already solved, the pit is powered and you can just walk to the vault

Re: Solo Player Non-Commit House Designs (For Cullman's Game)

dog commit festival.

since i saw too many players approaching these in the wrong way, here we have a tutorial with different situations.
Last one is a bit tricky, it may lead to a fair share of deaths during early tries.

TOOLS

For this first one, the player is given 2 water to complete the level.  They will learn that both grates and power sources can be stopped with water.

Here, the player has 3 bricks.  They learn that bricks can be used to kill dogs, cats and trigger switches.

paradox crash course

no fog of war
1 wire cutter

if you want to make it more like a puzzle, add a brick and a dog meat to the inventory just to mess with players big_smile

Yo, how do you solve the one where you have the corridor and the wife with a shotgun, and the corridor is only 2 squares wide? I've never worked that one out.

Stand to her right and just walk past her!  As long as you are always 2 spaces (even diagonally) away, she won't shoot you.

As for the dog...

Re: Solo Player Non-Commit House Designs (For Cullman's Game)

Here's a new full maze, medium difficulty (no commit's).
There's some switch play, some family play and tricky dogs.

Re: Solo Player Non-Commit House Designs (For Cullman's Game)

AMWhy, that maze has a small problem I think on the lower chichi bit. The lower bits of wiring connect to the electric floor which connects to the trapdoor, so it's permanently on, thus meaning if you opened both chichi doors it wouldn't make a difference, as long as you got the (correct) top one.

But nice layout. If only it could be created in game tongue

Re: Solo Player Non-Commit House Designs (For Cullman's Game)

@Osmium_Planet, good spot!  Corrected.

http://castledraft.com/editor/kPgdRI

Edit:
To solve it, you first need to solve the top half.
Then open the bottom chihuaha.
Walk to the fourth central electric pit (they will come on).
Then go back and open the second chihuaua.  If you open the top chihuahua too soon, it'll fall in the pit.

Here's a new take on the magic dance.  A non-commit version.
