How to tell this game is dead:
no more than 20 houses up at a time
your house shoots straight up after 1 day
paintings are two hundred(200) TWO HUNDRED dollars
It was fun while it lasted
Excellent, hopefully this game does away with the flaws that TCD had to deal with. I have to ask though, how similar are the two games? Is it a direct clone with more/new circuit components, or a completely different game?
HI all! :-)
I want to introduce new project, directly connected with Bitcoins:
Over The Battle is a new concept of news. You can make a bet on real events on real news in real world!
You can bet coin “pro” and “contra” on countries participating in military conflicts or on success or failure of capture of famous mafia leader etc. You can add your own event for bets! You can just test your analytical skills making virtual bets (absolutely free) or make a real money on real events.

So this is what this forum has been reduced to, shamelessly necrobumping 2 year old threads with advertisements.
Recently I caught wind of Frost's new community server, recently joined that. Since I've been back, it's evident that not nearly as many people play this game anymore, and I was wondering, why? Why did everyone just up and leave? Is it because of the multi-accounters? Or something else, like just being burned out or discouraged after dying?
Last time I posted, I was playing as James Michael Henley in the main server, and there were at least 50 houses up. Needless to say I'm definitely making a move to this new server. Thanks, Frosty, for breathing a little bit of life back into the game.
Also, why are all the paintings just one dollar?
I know this isn't in the spirit of the thread, but shit, I counted 127 steps instead of 128 and got fried. ;-;
And by the way, here is the most recent map of my house:
Got killed in Gonzalez's place after attempting to track some wiring, and stepped on a sleeping dog. I literally audibly gasped at this. Shame, I liked that house too. Have fun with your 14k bounty Gonzalez, I'll be retrieving my paintings within the next day or two.
I'm currently on a good house but you'll see me soon
-James Michael Henley
fairly certain Grant's base is $4800, it's a onestep death if you dont go in with meat, though.
HIM.
His alt robbed me of those paintings and that 11k a few days ago. Thanks for telling me his main's name! Hadn't realized that magic dance was so easily figured out.
Got a large bounty
upgraded to trap doors
they wouldn't conduct.
I went to Connel's
I started to go too fast
Dog behind a door.

Thanks for visiting. My cat had fun playing with you. Luckily he has more than nine lives. Sorry my dog wasn't so playful. You should stop feeding him so much, he gets sleepy after every meal.
I was coming in to scout for my alt, I was rebuilding the entrance on my alt's 2k starter and running drills on how to beat it. I have it kind of figured out.
I survived in a self-test AFTER my traps were fucked up by a previous robbery!
woo
That was me, I was in cook's house and decided to fuck it up for everyone. I had no idea that this decision would get me $16,000 the next day, lol
With a lot of paintings too.

Weird to hear you say "your entrance." Guess I'm not use to having actual ownership of the Geyer house yet.
Anyway, I wasn't sure if you meant you visited Jensen or Geyer.
I visited Jensen's place

EDIT: The house is fixed! Damn, I was just about to steal some more from it..
I may be compromising the security of my own (jensen) entrance, but I'll give you a little hint. You have to send the cat across. You can play and experiment until you can fully understand how the cat works, but it won't cost any lives. You can play with the cat without releasing the top dog. Stop by with your alt scout and see if you can progress throughout the house.

Blip,
My friend and I just checked the tapes. You came in well tooled, unsure of what lay after the dogs. Then pretty much bruteforced through the rest to get there. Gratz. He's still done . However, he felt better after seeing how many tools it took you to get to the far vault location. He no longer thinks you're hacking the map.pagedMov wrote:Yeah, just robbed Geyer for like 11k using just one drugged meat. It was pretty satisfying because that entrance trap was just... ugh.
EDIT: Just robbed him again for 8k. Where the hell did all that come from?

So after Blip robbed it, there were 16 deaths after. Then, you came in with your alt scout (Gary James Newsome) found the vault, suicided with a ladder, and made the death toll to 17, then your main (James Michael Henley) robbed it for $11150.
THEN... after that, Kenneth C. Schultz came in and died with a $6100 bounty. Then, James Brian Jackson died with a $2300 bounty. Then you came back in with your main account and grabbed up $8899.
I know for sure you have one alt account, however I'm not sure if you have others and were passing a bounties off. If you were transferring you went to a lot of trouble to hide it. So I seriously doubt it. I'm guessing the other two deaths were people who knew the house to be a broken one and went to go map it out and check for the vault, but ended up dying in areas they had no idea that could kill them.
So... this is officially my second account now, since I've given up trying to get my friend back in it. However, I don't plan on taking advantage of it just yet or even if I will (not sure where I stand on alt accounts for myself personally). The house still has plenty of places to hide a vault. So I just moved the vault and repaired the damage. It still has at least a $4k listing and should attract some more people again. It will probably just sit and grow money while I concentrate on Jensen.
Edit: bolded pagedMov's name.
Yes, I do have one alt, mostly used for scouting, but bounty transfers aren't really fun to me, so I never really do them.
Also, pagedMov,
What didn't you like about the entrance?
It was complicated to me, I never really figured out how you were supposed to progress.

Yeah, just robbed Geyer for like 11k using just one drugged meat. It was pretty satisfying because that entrance trap was just... ugh.

Hopefully he does a sale. I mean, he's not gonna, but it would be nice to have actual new players. To be honest, at this point I wouldn't feel cheated over a sale, in fact I would be very happy to see one because that means 1. More money for Jason to work on this game and others and 2. More players playing the game. It's literally a win-win. Nobody's going to hold a grudge over a sale.
So, yeah. After robbing Luke Travis Brown, I'm suddenly on the front page!
This came as a huge surprise to me and a great milestone in my TCD career. After this comes the trial of robbing a top house...
Oh, wow, thanks!
Yeah the bounty was about $19,100, and it is currently being well-spent on house upgrades.
